$10,000, suspected pot found in search

A drug-related search warrant executed Wednesday morning uncovered suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $10,000 cash in the 100 block of Frost Parkway Wednesday morning, a release from Seneca County Drug Task Force — METRICH Enforcement Unit stated.

Myles A. Jackson, 22, of Tiffin, was arrested during execution of the search warrant at 115 Frost Parkway, which began at 9:10 a.m., and was charged with trafficking marijuana, the release stated.

Additional charges of trafficking marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of criminal tools are pending on Jackson as well as his roommate, Oscar D. Fuentes, 21, of Tiffin, upon completion of lab analysis of the discovered substance, the release stated.

Tiffin Police Department assisted METRICH with the search.

Police found several containers of suspected marijuana, about $10,000 in U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia and criminal tools. Among the objects confiscated included a special edition of Newsweek titled “Weed 2.0” and a gas mask.
