2 arrested after drug raid

Two Findlay residents were arrested early Friday after detectives from the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force searched their residence at 1730 Lima Ave., Apt. 4.

Kylie Sue Rader, 36, and Thomas Turner, 50, were each charged with assembly of chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine, a third-degree felony, the task force reported.

Detectives with the task force obtained a search warrant and began the search at 6:30 a.m., with assistance from the Findlay Police Department.

The search yielded cash, drug paraphernalia, and items and chemicals commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine, the task force said.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected, the task force said. Assisting with the investigation was the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Clandestine Drug Lab.
