2 women busted in Green after trying to sell meth to undercover officers

Two Canton women were busted for drug trafficking after they tried to sell meth to undercover officers.

According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, undercover officers arranged a meeting with the suspects at a restaurant in Green on Thursday.

Around 4:30 p.m. the suspects--identified as 43-year-old Patricia Powers and 32-year-old Erin Stafford--allegedly attempted to sell three ounces of meth to the officers.

Both were arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs. They were transported to the Summit County Jail.

Additional charges are pending.
