Carey residents face drug charges after police raid

Two Carey residents were arrested on drug trafficking charges after the Wyandot County Special Response Team searched two house trailers early Thursday in Carey Mobile Home Park, 811 E. Findlay St.

At Lot 47, Cody T. Lykins, 29, was arrested for complicity to trafficking in drugs and intimidation of a witness, while Heather N. Shuff, 23, was arrested on a drug trafficking charge, according to Wyandot County Sheriff Michael Hetzel. Drug-related evidence was removed from the trailer, Hetzel reported.

At Lot 15, an adult female, an adult male and three juveniles were found at the residence. Detectives took drug-related evidence and charges are pending, Hetzel said.

The raid, at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, came after an investigation by the sheriff’s office, METRICH Enforcement Unit, Carey and Upper Sandusky police departments.
