Chillicothe Search Warrants

On July 16, 2014 the Chillicothe Police Department with assistance from the Ohio Organized Crime Commission served three drug search warrants in the city.

The first search warrant was served at 167 Scioto Ave., Amber Sherrick’s residence. Marijuana was seized from the home. Two children were also removed from the home due to living conditions. No charges were filed at this time but are possible charges are possible at a later date, pending lab results.

The second search warrant was served at 348 E. 2nd St.  Four persons were located in the residence. Officer seized Heroin and Paraphernalia and Angela Seward was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of drug paraphernalia. This is the second time in the six months this residence was searched and drugs were found. Detective will contact the Ross County Prosecutor’s Office in reference to seizing the residence.

The third residence was located at 132 N. Watt St. During the search of the residence, heroin and paraphernalia were seized.  There were five adults in the residence and two children. Ross County Children’s Services was called and the children were removed from the home due to living conditions. One person, Amanda Rapp, was arrested at this residence and served with an outstanding warrant charging Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments.

This is an ongoing effort by the Chillicothe Police Department to combat the drug trafficking in Chillicothe.
