Cleveland man charged with drug trafficking in Wickliffe

A Cleveland man with warrants out for his arrest for other felonies was arrested in Wickliffe on March 19 for allegedly selling drugs.

At about 2:09 p.m., Stephvon Eason, 20, was allegedly seen by members of the Wickliffe Police Department Detective Bureau and Lake County Narcotics Agency completing a heroin transaction. 

When checking records, they learned Eason was wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for a felony probation violation and by Cleveland police on a felony burglary warrant, according to the Wickliffe Police Department’s Facebook page.

Eason, of 3758 E. 153rd Street, was arraigned in Willoughby Municipal Court on March 20 and charged with fourth-degree felony drug trafficking and fifth-degree felony possession of criminal tools, according to court records.

Judge Harry Field set bond at 10 percent of $10,000. A preliminary hearing was scheduled on March 27.
