Drug unit seizes two marijuana grow operations in Cuyahoga Falls

The Summit County Drug Unit busted two marijuana grow operations in Cuyahoga Falls on Thursday.

The unit executed a search warrant on Lincoln Avenue. There they found 30 pot plants, grow equipment and about $2,000 in cash, the sheriff’s office said.

Thomas D. Coffman, 36, was arrested and charged with cultivation, illegal assembly or possession for the manufacture of drugs. More charges against other suspects are pending.

According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, the second grow operation was on East Bath Road. Officers seized more than 90 marijuana plants, equipment and between $8,000 and $10,000 cash. In this case, charges are pending.
