Eight arrested on drug trafficking charges

Eight people named in sealed drug indictments last month have been arrested, according to Dave Marcum, chief investigator for the Lawrence County Prosecutor's Office.

Alison M. Lewis, 34, of Private Drive 545, Ironton, was charged with trafficking in meth, trafficking in oxycodone, trafficking in cocaine, tampering with evidence and illegal conveyance of drugs on the grounds of a detention facility.

Jeremy T. Ferguson, 24, and his twin brother, Jeffrey N. Ferguson, both of County Road 1, South Point, Ohio, were charged with trafficking in heroin. Jeremy Ferguson was charged with three counts of trafficking in heroin, and Jeffrey Ferguson was charged with one count of trafficking in heroin.
