Heroin, cash found in Galion residence

An on-going heroin investigation resulted in two arrests Monday night.

Crawford County Sheriff Scott Kent said officers from his department, assisted by the METRICH enforcement unit, Galion police and the Ohio Highway Patrol seized heroin, marijuana, syringes, drug paraphernalia and cash from a residence on Ohio 19.

Patrick A. Thompson, 57, 5000 Ohio 19, Galion; and Kimberly A. Hough, 49, 6608 Ohio 314, Mount Gilead; were arrested and charged with felony drug possession.

Both are in the Crawford County jail pending court appearances.

Kent asked residents to continue to report suspected drug activity to his office at 419-562-7906 or another law enforcement agency.
