Lake County authorities seize shipment of 100 pounds of marijuana

A Maple Heights woman is facing charges after the Lake County Narcotics Agency confiscated 100 pounds of marijuana.

Agents discovered the pot as it was being shipped to Willoughby. Authorities set up surveillance on Friday and waited.

At about 6:15 p.m. Latoya Coleman, 30, of Maple Heights, picked up several boxes, Willoughby police said. As she was loading them into her Jeep, a detective confronted her.

She was arrested without incident and taken into Lake County Narcotics Agency custody.
