Marijuana Grow Warren County

The Warren County Drug Task Force was involved in five separate searches in Franklin Township (Warren County), City of Franklin, Dayton, and Middletown, Ohio, on 2/26/15.

Seized was over $1 million street value in high grade marijuana plants. In all, 430 plants were seized along with over 15 gallons of hashish oil and butter. In addition, an operation producing large amounts of edibles that include ice cream, brownies, fudge, candy, and cookies were also seized along with the industrial production equipment used to manufacture these products.

Also seized was a large cache of firearms including automatic weapons with serial numbers removed, and quantities of gold and silver in a safe at the City of Franklin location.

Arrested at this time is James P. West, male 50 years of age, who was present at the 6560 Shaker Run residence at the time of the search warrant service. He has been charged with Cultivating Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana, both F-2 felonies. This case is still under investigation with more arrests forthcoming.
