Mason High School Drug Trafficker

The Warren County Drug Task Force is in the process of culminating a one year undercover investigation that began with the trafficking of high grade marijuana by a 17 year old Mason High School student. This student headed up a criminal enterprise that potentially grossed over $20,000 per month, and was found with over $6,000 in cash in his bedroom at the time of the service of the search warrant.

Continuing the investigation, officers were able to ultimately serve search warrants in Blue Ash, Norwood, and Hamilton Ohio, resulting in the seizure of over 600 hydroponic marijuana plants, each valued at $5,000 a piece, with an ultimate street value in excess of $3 million. In addition thousands of dollars of grow equipment were also seized in this investigation.

Seven (7) individuals were indicted by the Warren County Grand Jury on Friday involving various felonies in this investigation which is ongoing. Criminal charges are also being pursued in juvenile court. Photos and specific charges will be provided at the press conference.

Additional participants in this investigation are Regional Enforcement Narcotics Unit (RENU), Butler County Drug Task Force (BURN), Hamilton PD, Blue Ash PD, Norwood PD, and Mason PD.

On Monday, July 16th, at 10:00 A.M., a joint press conference will be held at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, 550 Justice Drive, Lebanon, Ohio, for all interested media.
