MERCER COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED DURING TRAFFIC STOP

Sheriff Al Solomon released details of two arrests that took place Wednesday afternoon in the village of New Knoxville.  The traffic stop resulted from an investigation started by the Auglaize/Mercer County Grand Lake Drug Task Force. 

Members of the Task Force performed surveillance on a vehicle that was suspected of transporting illegal drugs.  As the vehicle entered into Auglaize County a traffic stop was conducted by the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office at the Marathon gas station in New Knoxville.

Heroin was found on Timothy J. Garman, age 49 of Celina.  Garman was arrested at the scene and transported to the Auglaize County Jail.  Another person in the vehicle was arrested on a Mercer County probation violation.  Seth T. Hall, age 27 from Celina was taken into custody and transported to Mercer County.  Other drug related paraphernalia items were also located in the vehicle.

Two other passengers in the vehicle were Tina K. Hall, age 48 and Craig Hall, 49 both Celina.  Craig and Tina were released pending further investigation.
