Painesville man faces cocaine-related charges

A 45-year-old Painesville resident is accused of holding more than 3 ounces of cocaine in Painesville following an investigation by the Lake County Narcotics Agency, Painesville Municipal Court records show.

Jose A. DeJesus, whose court paperwork confirms he lives at 344 Sanford St., is charged with first degree felony possession of cocaine in an amount more than 100 grams.

If convicted, DeJesus could get up to 11 years behind bars.  He is being held on a $175,000 bond and has a preliminary hearing scheduled May 30, his file states.
