Pot in Perry

Perry Township police assisted the county Drug Task Force during a consent to search at a residence in the 1000 block of Colonial Drive Tuesday morning which resulted in the removal of more than 100 suspected marijuana plants. The DTF shut down an alleged growing operation located in a garage at the rear of the property. The plants will be sent for testing, with charges pending against the homeowner. Perry Police Chief Mike Emigh said the DTF was investigating based on a tip.
