Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil reports the arrest of Kenneth Gentry age 32, of 5160 Montgomery Road.   Kenneth Gentry was arrested today by Agents of the Regional Narcotics Unit after a Hamilton County Grand Jury indicted him on Involuntary Manslaughter and Corrupting Another With Drugs in the death of Scott Kehrer age 38 of Arlington Heights, Ohio.

Scott Kehrer was found unconscious at a residence in Lockland on January 30, 2015.   EMS transported him to Jewish Hospital and on February 1, 2015 Scott Kehrer died as a result of an overdose of Fentanyl according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

RENU Agents initiated an investigation in April after identifying Kenneth Gentry as the individual who was supplying Scott Kehrer with heroin and subsequently the fatal dose of Fentanyl.

Kenneth Gentry and his girlfriend Leeanna Bowling age 26, were arrested today after they were also both indicted by a Hamilton County Grand Jury for Possession and Trafficking in Drugs (heroin).

RENU Agents executed a search warrant on 6/16/15 at their residence at 5160 Montgomery and recovered an additional quantity of heroin, prescription pills along with drug trafficking paraphernalia. Both individuals will be charged with additional counts of Possession and Trafficking in Drugs as a result of the evidence recovered from today’s search warrant.

Gentry and Bowling will be arraigned in room A at the Hamilton County Justice Center at 9am on 6/17/15.
