Seized in Coventry Township

Nearly 500 marijuana plants, a Cadillac car, $20,000 in cash and a snowmobile were among several items found during a drug bust at three homes in Coventry Township Tuesday.

When the Summit County Sheriff's Office followed up on an anonymous tip at 2873 Upham Road in Coventry Township and served a search warrant, they found 129 marijuana plants and several thousands of dollars in equipment at the home.

Information obtained there then led the drug unit to 139 Lakota Drive, authorities said. At that home officers seized $20,000 in cash, a Cadillac, a snowmobile, a Ford van, several rifles, 24 marijuana plants and marijuana growing equipment.

That information led investigators next door at 135 Laktoa Drive. Authorities say that entire home was dedicated to growing pot. About 45 bags of marijuana were taken along with 325 marijuana plants and several thousand dollars in equipment.

According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, the home had stations throughout the house for trimming, drying and packaging the marijuana.

James Eubank, 47, was arrested and charged with felony cultivation. Additional charges are pending.
