STARK COUNTY SHERIFF’S METRO NARCOTICS UNIT SEIZES ONE POUND OF CRYSTAL METHAMPHETAMINE

On Monday, April 27, 2015, Stark County Sheriff's Metro Agents, with assistance of the FBI's Safe Streets Task Force, served a search warrant at 4825 South Blvd. NW Apt. 2 in Jackson Township.  The warrant was executed as the result of an investigation by Metro agents where a Fed-Ex package containing crystal methamphetamine was delivered to Dorian Lavelle Jackson who resides at the South Blvd. address.

Jackson was arrested for Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the first degree and Tampering with Evidence, a third degree felony.  He was taken into custody and booked at the Stark County Jail.

Crystal Methamphetamine is a controlled substance listed as a schedule II illegal narcotic under the U.S. Controlled Substances Act.  The 454 grams of crystal methamphetamine has a street value over $30,000.
