Summit County Sheriff: Highland Hills police officer accused of selling steroids, other drugs

A part-time police officer for Highland Hills is accused of selling anabolic steroids, as well as other drugs.

According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Anthony Borway was caught with various drugs when police executed a search warrant at a home in Mogadore. 

When the Summit County Drug Unit responded to a home in the 3900 block of Highland Road on Aug. 12, officers seized 18 vials of anabolic steroids, several hundred anabolic steroid pills and numerous types of prescription pain medication, according to the sheriff's office. The prescription medication included Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Opana, Methadone, Xanax, Adderall, cash, syringes.

Three handguns were also seized.

Authorities say Borway, of Mogadore, was arrested and charged with possession of drugs/steroids, trafficking in drugs/steroids, aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs and possessing drug instruments.

At the time of the investigation, Borway was a part-time police officer in Highland Hills.

Jentle Love was also arrested and is facing the same charges.
