Tiffin man arrested on warrant

A Tiffin man was arrested during a search warrant Wednesday night.

Michael D. Culpepper, 42, of Tiffin, was arrested on a warrant for trafficking crack cocaine, according to a Seneca County Drug Task Force - METRICH Enforcement Unit release.

METRICH, along with officers from the Tiffin Police Department, executed a drug-related search warrant at 207 Sixth Ave. Wednesday. Chuck Boyer, unit coordinator of METRICH, said law enforcement officers entered the residence at around 7 p.m.

He release stated no other contraband was found in the home, but Culpepper was arrested on an existing warrant that, Boyer said, was filed in May.

According to Seneca County Clerk of Courts records, Culpepper was found guilty on four counts of trafficking in cocaine in May 2009.

"We knew about his history, but we were receiving complaints about drug activity back in the avenues," Boyer said.

Boyer said METRICH had been investigating Culpepper since May.
