Two arrested in drug bust

Eric D. Perryman, 47, and Christie Mills, 37, were arrested following completion of a drug-related search warrant at 280 and 282 W. Dickson Ave., according to a METRICH news release.

Perryman was charged with drug trafficking in heroin, drug trafficking in crack cocaineĀ and possession of heroin, all fifth-degree felonies, and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree misdemeanors.

Mills was charged with possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a first-degree misdemeanor.

While searching the 280 W. Dickson Ave. address, authorities said they found heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $849 cash. Drug paraphernalia was also located at 282 W. Dickson Ave, the release said.

Numerous citizen complaints about suspected drug trafficking and prostitution activity taking place in the homes led to the search warrant, which was signed by Judge Jerry Ault, the release said.

The METRICH Enforcement Unity, ASORT, Ashland METRICH, Richland County Sheriff's Office and Mansfield Police Department assisted in the search.
