Two charged in Springfield heroin investigation

Two Clark County residents were arrested Wednesday on warrants related to a large drug seizure in the county last year.

Rashawn Arnold, 41, and Allie Lander, 39, are being held at the Clark County Jail in lieu of $1 million bonds.

They are both being held on charges of drug trafficking, drug abuse and having weapons under disability.

The investigation began in November, according to a press release from the Montgomery County R.A.N.G.E. Task Force, when a search warrant was executed at 2944 Derr Road, Apt. 230.

A large quantity of heroin, two handguns and more than $50,000 in cash were seized. Lander and Arnold were arrested at that time, but not charged. A secret indictment was completed earlier this year and warrants issued for their arrests, according to court documents.

On Wednesday, they were arrested during a traffic stop in Clark County and an additional $12,500 in cash was seized.

Task force officers served two additional search warrants Friday, along with Bureau of Criminal Investigations and ATF agents. They raided 1067 Bertram Drive, in Dayton, and 5610 N. Main St., Apt. 303, in Harrison Township.
