1 busted in Harrison Twp. raid that nets drugs, guns

A 22-year-old man arrested Tuesday in a raid that netted drugs, guns and cash is due in court Thursday on several charges.

Jimmy Smith is to be in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court on felony charges of drug possession (cocaine and heroin) and illegal conveyance of a weapon and a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

Smith was arrested at about 11 a.m. by the Montgomery County Regional Agencies Narcotics and Gun Enforcement task force, which executed a search warrant raid on an apartment in the 5600 block of North Main Street.

Officers found quantities of heroin and cocaine, two shotguns and thousands of dollars in cash, according to sheriff's office.
