12 Indicted In Large Prescription Pill Trafficking Operation

2 people were indicted on Monday in the wake of a five month investigation conducted by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office into a Florida to Ohio trafficking conspiracy.

Knox County officials say the indictments include over 400 counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated funding of drug activity, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, felonies of the first and second degree. 

The pills include over 100,000 Percocet, Methadone, Alprazolam and other pills with a street value of approximately $2 million.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested the defendants on Monday with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office arresting the Columbus defendants.
