2 search warrants executed

Search warrants were executed at two Fostoria residences Friday. According to a release from Seneca County Drug Task Force - METRICH Enforcement Unit, the search warrants, which were signed by Judge Ken Clason of Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court, were executed at 156 Sandusky St., the residence of Marcus Everly, 37, and 1641 N. Union St., the residence of Robert P. Garrett, 44.

According to the release, the search warrant at 156 Sandusky St. yielded firearms, marijuana, criminal tools consistent with marijuana cultivation and money. The search warrant at 1641 N. Union St. yielded marijuana and criminal tools consistent with its cultivation, it states.

Everly was arrested for allegedly having weapons under disability and was being held at Fostoria Police Department, the release states.

Additional charges of possession in marijuana, possession of criminal tools, marijuana cultivation and drug abuse were pending Friday night.

Fostoria Police Department officers assisted METRICH with the search warrants, according to the release.
