28 Charged In Franklin County Drug Trafficking Investigation

A heroin trafficking investigation in Franklin County resulted in charges against 28 people.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, over a two-day period, members of the sheriff's office's SWAT team have been searching for and arresting the suspects.

The sheriff said that the Franklin County Drug task Force focused efforts over the past few months on an initiative to combat the trafficking and abuse of heroin and prescription-strength opioids in the area.

The following suspects were taken into custody:

• Walter Underdew, 50, is charged with possession of heroin.
• Lovell Williams, 37, is charged with possession of oxycodone.
• Benjamin Daniel, 30, is charged with possession of oxycodone.
• Deron Long, 22, is charged with trafficking in drugs.
• Brian Brobst, 25, is charged with trafficking in oxycodone.
• Everett Stevens Jr., 23, is charged with trafficking in oxycodone
• Daniel Manter, 23, is charged with trafficking in oxycodone.
• Arnold Manter Jr., 31, is charged with trafficking in oxycodone.
• Vicky Bingmer, 29, is charged with trafficking in oxycodone.
• Amber Schooley, 26, is charged with possession of heroin.
• Christopher Wood, 24, is charged with possession of heroin.
• Joseph Thomas, 49, is charged with possession of heroin.
• Diogenes Maldonado, 32, is charged with trafficking in heroin. 

The following suspects remain at large:

• Christa Towe, 35, is charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments, and falsification.
• Kenneth Williams, 35, is charged with trafficking in heroin.
• Davis Cochran, 26, is charged with possession of heroin, and illegal conveyance of heroin into a detention facility.
• Amber Ely, 27, is charged with possession of heroin.
• Anson Blanton, 33, is charged with having weapons under disability.
• Irvin Diles, 45, is charged with trafficking in heroin, and trafficking in oxycodone (in the presence of a child).
• Pamela Diles, 45, is charged with trafficking in oxycodone, and trafficking in oxycodone.
• Robert Masters, 50, is charged with illegal conveyance of suboxone into a detention facility.
• Chad Ryan, 19, is charged with illegal conveyance of Heroin into a detention facility.
• Grant West, 41, is charged with possession of heroin.
• Patricia Jones, 35, is charged with permitting trafficking in heroin, and possession of oxycodone.
• Darion Williams, 23, is charged with trafficking in heroin.
• Jerry Hagwood, 32, is charged with trafficking in heroin within 1,000 feet of a school.
• Allen Austin, 28, is charged with trafficking in heroin.
• Niko Miller, 25, is charged with trafficking in oxycodone.
