3 arrested in second drug raid in same day in Crestline

Three people were arrested in Crestline after a drug raid Tuesday afternoon, Crestline Police Chief Jeffrey Shook confirmed.

The arrests came after Crestline officers executed search warrants at 763 County Line Rd., Lot 32, and 209 Newton St., both in Crestline.

Arrested were Iva Reedy, 26; Lucas Conn, 39; and Curtis Newcome, 26, according to a press release issued by the Crestline Police Department. The statement called them "lengthy drug trafficking cases."

All three were taken into custody without incident, Shook said, and that they were initially held on felony drug charges.

"Further charges are being considered by the Crawford County prosecutor," Shook said.

A list of items confiscated during the raid and the charges the defendants are facing cannot be released until the prosecutor's office has processed the case's paperwork, Shook said.

It was the second drug raid of the day.

In Tuesday's other drug raid, Wesley Jackson, 28, was arrested on a charge of trafficking in drugs after a search of his Leesville Road home, officials said. Jackson also had an outstanding warrant in Crawford County, according to a news release from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office.

The Crestline Police Department was assisted by the Bucyrus Police Department, the Galion Police Department and the METRICH drug task force.
