3 jailed to end month-long drug investigation

A month-long drug trafficking investigation was brought to close Wednesday afternoon with the arrests of three males on drug charges.

The three were arrested during a search warrant-initiated raid at 3451 Haberer Ave., where detectives seized heroin, crack and powder cocaine, marijuana, cash and a firearm, according to a statement issued late Wednesday night by the Montgomery County RANGE Task Force.

Task force detectives were joined in the investigation and raid by agents with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

The three arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail, pending the filing of drug possession charges, are:

• David Jewett, 18

• Dominique Cobbins, 19

• Dwayne Chappell, 24
