5 More Heroin-Related Arrests Made In Circleville Area

A Circleville drug raid ended with five people under arrest.

The suspects are charged with felony drug counts and will face a judge in Pickaway County on Friday.

Deputies said Raymond Tackett, Jr., Darrell West, Ashley Rowley, Garrett Craig and Brandy Craig were outside the Relax Inn on US 23 Thursday night. That's when deputies made the arrest.

Deputies said West and Tackett were just recently release from jail on different charges after posting bond.

Deputies said they confiscated $2,000 in cash, bags of heroin, cocaine and needles were all confiscated from the suspects.

Raymond Tackett, Jr. and Darrell West were both charged with drug trafficking. Ashley Rowley, Garrett Craig and Brandy Craig were each charged with possession and complicity to possession.

Neighbors say they are concerned about residents living in the area.

“We don't need that. People running around getting high, getting stupid - we don't need it, peaceful neighborhood here,” said resident Mitchell Showmaker.

The investigation was conducted by the US 23 Major Crime Task Force agencies, which include the Pike County Sheriff's Office, Ross County Sheriff's Office, Pickaway County Sheriff's Office and was assisted by the Franklin County Sheriff's office.
