Two people were arrested Tuesday night after a drug bust in South Point. Both Raymond Jenkins, 35, and Kandas Johnson, 32, were taken into custody after investigators found 50 grams of crystal meth in their home. They both face a second-degree felony charge for drug trafficking.

Investigators served warrants on five people who were recently indicted by a Lawrence County grand jury. The grand jury this week returned nine secret indictments after considering evidence of trafficking in drugs. During the investigations controlled purchases of cocaine, heroin and crystal methamphetamine were completed, according to a release by the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office.
