Rape case may expand

City police say they think a 34-year-old man arrested early Friday on a rape charge could have other potential victims. Rashaune M. Ramsey was charged with rape, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia after a raid at 201 Rowland Ave. by the METRICH Enforcement Unit.

Heroin seized during METRICH drug raid

The METRICH Enforcement Unit, acting on an anonymous tip, seized $800, heroin and drug paraphernalia from a residence in the 100 block of Buckeye Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, according to police. During the search, detectives said they located numerous syringes, suspected ingredients for manufacturing synthetic narcotics and other drug paraphernalia.

Four Marion area trafficking suspects arrested in Operation 'Take A Number'

The MARMET Drug Task Force’s latest operation, codenamed “Take A Number,” aimed to hit alleged drug dealers in the area, said Lt.
