Complaints lead to drug bust

Officers with Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force arrested two people Thursday for allegedly selling drugs.

According to a press release from the office of Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson, drug trafficking complaints led officers to 514 Wyanoke St., Ironton, where heroin and alprazolam tablets were discovered.

Arrested were Tiffany D. Adkins, 24 of 514 Wyanoke St., and Brendan T. Howard, 25, of 621 17th St., Huntington, W.Va.

Adkins and Howard will be arraigned on Monday in Ironton Municipal Court on two counts of trafficking in drugs and possession of criminal tools.
