Drug raids net 4 arrests, firearms, $5K cash

Montgomery County RANGE Task Force raids at two addresses Tuesday and Wednesday resulted in four arrests and the seizure of heroin and other narcotics, 10 firearms, $5,000 cash and body armor.

Wednesday, 28-year-old Duan Scott was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on multiple counts of drug trafficking after task force members raided an apartment at 208 E. Bruce Ave.

According to the task force, "a quantity of heroin" was seized.

Tuesday, task force members and agents with the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raided 305 Kenilworth Ave., using a search warrant.

They seized crack cocaine, heroin, cocaine, approximately $5,000 cash, body armor and 10 firearms including two SKS .762-caliber assault rifles, a stolen .357 revolver.

Arrested and booked into jail were:

  • Israel Donley, 41. Weapons charges.
  • Victor Ojezua, 35. Probation hearing. A drug possession charge has been cleared, according to online jail records.
  • Randy Heard, 22. Drug possession.

The sheriff's office did not say when the raids occurred. Investigations of both raids are continuing, according to the task force.
