Findlay woman charged after drug search

A Findlay woman was arrested early Thursday after a police raid at 133 Woodley Terrace in Findlay, the Findlay Police Department reported.

Raven Merschman, 28, who lives at the address, was charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, following the raid.

At 5:34 a.m., the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force and the Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at the Woodley Terrace residence. Officers found cocaine, marijuana, cash, a gun, drug paraphernalia and other items that indicated drug trafficking.

Additional drug-related charges are expected at the conclusion of the investigation, according to police.

Merschman was being held in the Hancock County jail Thursday.
