Friday bust yields cash, drugs on TR 55

A search warrant executed today at a home in the 8000 block of Township Road 55 in Morrow County should result in drug charges against the occupants, according to a press release from the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office.

On February 7, 2014, the METRICH Enforcement Unit, along with Morrow County Sheriff’s detectives and the Cardington Police Department, confiscated $9,743 in cash, approximately 31g of suspected crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and drug abuse instruments.

The Sheriff’s Office stated charges of trafficking in cocaine (a schedule II substance), possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of drug abuse instruments are pending upon the conclusion of the drug investigation and the return of lab results.
