Ironton Couple Arrested on Drug Charges Following Raid

A husband and wife from Ironton have been arrested on drugs charges following a raid at their home early Friday morning.

Officers from the Lawrence Drug & Major Crimes Task Force and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the home of Terry Lee Gannon, 40, and Cindy Gannon, 34, of Ironton. The couple lives in the 400 block of County Road 7C.

Investigators say that Task Force members made controlled buys of oxycodone from Terry Gannon on five different occasions in the last month.

They say information gathered during the investigation indicated Gannon was traveling to Detroit, Michigan to purchase large quantities of oxycodone, and then bringing the drugs back to Lawrence County for distribution.

During the raid, officers say they seized various drugs and firearms.

Terry Gannon is charged with trafficking in drugs. Cindy Gannon is charged with possession of drugs.

The couple will be arraigned Monday in Ironton Municipal Court.
