Large Cocaine Investigation

Following a two-month investigation into the Kenneth Slaughter Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO), known for trafficking large amounts of Cocaine in the Central Ohio area, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, along with Columbus Division of Police SWAT Unit, and the Delaware Tactical Unit, executed search warrants at two separate residences that led to the arrest of four individuals.

Those arrested and charged with Felony 1-Possession of Cocaine were: Kenneth Slaughter (35), Carolyn Battles (33), and Susan Warner (48) of Lewis Center.  The fourth person, Herman Swan (52) of Columbus, was arrested and charged with Felony 3-Possession of Drugs.

Recovered as evidence in the operation was 3080 grams of Cocaine, 28 grams of Heroin, and 20 grams of Crack Cocaine.  Additionally recovered were two handguns, and over $6800.
