A large quantity of fentanyl was seized and 3 men were arrested in the second drug raid in as many days by the Montgomery County R.A.N.G.E. Task Force.
The raid March 23 ended a month long drug trafficking investigation, according to a media release from the task force.
R.A.N.G.E. Task Force Detectives, Homeland Security Investigations and Montgomery County deputies from Harrison Township raided an apartment on East Nottingham Road near Fair Oaks Road, and reportedly seized a large quantity of fentanyl, crack cocaine, marijuana, three handguns and approximately $2,000 in cash.
Three men were arrested in connection with the incident and booked into Montgomery County Jail on possession of drugs charges: 25-year-old Anthony Young, 19-year-old Jairquan Donnell and 18-year-old Erutan Young.
FOX 45's Rhonda Moore talked to one man at the apartment who defended his friends.
"i'm pretty sure that whatever it was, it's not nothing for them to go down, be in jail for," a man we're calling "Mike" because he didn't want his identity revealed said. "Everybody smoke weed. You know what I'm saying, if they caught some weed in there, everybody smoke weed. Some people smoke a lot more than a lot of people."
The task force had completed a raid with assistance from the FBI just one day before the raid at East Nottingham Road. They will reportedly continue to investigate the matter.
