Local man arrested for trafficking heroin

Members of the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force served an arrest warrant Tuesday afternoon at a rural Bellefontaine residence relating to their investigation into heroin trafficking.

Edwin C. Guiles, 34, of 2232 County Road 10, was arrested at his residence when the warrant was served about 4:10 p.m.

He was charged with two counts of trafficking heroin and was transported to the Logan County Jail.

In addition, a woman who was present at Mr. Guiles’ residence, Danielle Oldaker, 32, of 6956 County Road 47, West Liberty, was issued a summons for possession of drug abuse instruments.

Task force members seized heroin and drug abuse instruments from the home.
