Logan County Joint Drug Task Force

The Logan County Joint Drug Task Force is a specialized drug enforcement unit comprised of the Logan Sheriff’s Office, the Bellefontaine Police Department, in conjunction with the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office.

Mission Statement

To provide aggressive, specialized narcotic enforcement for the safety and property of our community. The Logan County Joint Drug Task Force is committed to actively pursue, investigate, arrest and prosecute individuals or groups who manufacture, distribute or sell narcotics. Through overt and covert investigations, the task force will work with determination and diligence to disrupt and eliminate the presence and availability of narcotics in our community.

Logan County is a rural community with a population of nearly 47,000. Logan County is geographically located in midwestern Ohio, situated due west of Columbus and north of Dayton. Logan County’s population nearly doubles during the summer month due to the Indian Lake Region resort area. Two major highways, US33 and US68, pass through Logan County and we are just east of I75.
