MAN Unit Press Release

On December 21, 2015, after cases were presented by Henry County Prosecutor Hawken Flanigan to a recent Henry County Grand Jury, members of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Napoleon Police Department, Deshler Police Department, and Defiance County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit assisted the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force in arresting persons who were formally charged with drug trafficking. These cases were the result of a six month undercover operation conducted by the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force.

Arrested were Mark T. Lafferty II, age 34, 9-242 CT T, Liberty Center, Ohio, for two counts Trafficking in Heroin, Felonies of the fifth degree, and two counts of Permitting Drug Abuse, Felonies of the fifth degree; Julius Fonseca Jr., age 50, 334 E. Main St. Napoleon, Ohio, for one count Trafficking in Heroin, a Felony of the fifth degree, two counts Trafficking in Heroin, Felonies of the fourth degree; Tony Fonseca, age 49, 334 E. Main Street, Napoleon, Ohio, for one count Trafficking in Drugs, (Hydrocodone), a Felony in the third degree; Brant D. Ward, age 24, 620 Fourth St., Napoleon, Ohio, four counts of Trafficking in Heroin, all Felonies of the fifth degree; Raul H. Salinas Jr., age 27, 752 Jackson St., Defiance, Ohio, for Trafficking in Cocaine a Felony of the fourth degree, Possession of Cocaine a Felony of the fourth degree; Joshua S. Hall, age 26, 318 E. Clinton St., Napoleon, Ohio, for one count Trafficking in Marijuana, a Felony of the fourth degree, one count Corrupting Another With Drugs ( Furnish or Administer to a Juvenile), a Felony of the third degree; Melissa L. Buchholz, age 29, Ohio Department of Correction, for one count possession of Heroin, a Felony of the fifth degree; Krista A Gore-Dishop, age 29, Ohio Department of Correction, one count Trafficking in Drugs (Hydromorphone) a Felony of the fourth degree, one count Trafficking in Drugs (Oxycodone) a Felony of the fourth degree; Nathanial R. Poole, age 32, 245 Patricia Ave., Napoleon, Ohio, for Possession of Heroin, a Felony of the fifth degree, one count Possession of Drugs (Hydrocodone), a Felony of the fifth degree; Nicole Lyn Poole, age 29, one count Possession of Heroin, a Felony of the fifth degree; Joshua A Armstrong, age 31, 110 Chester St., Florida, Ohio, for Possession of Fentanyl, a felony of the fifth degree; Joanne Detillion, age 42, 321 S. Stearns Ave., Deshler, Ohio, for Trafficking in Heroin, a Felony of the fourth degree; Derrick L. Rodriguez, age 50, 102 W. Plum St., Deshler, Ohio, for two counts Trafficking in Cocaine, Felonies of the fifth degree; Morgan E. Lamming, age 25, 529 E. Washington St., Napoleon, Ohio, for Permitting Drug Abuse, a Felony of the fifth degree, Endangering Children, a Misdemeanor of the first degree;

Jamie D. Taylor, age 33, 529 E. Washington St., Napoleon, Ohio, for Trafficking in Heroin a fourth degree felony, Endangering Children a misdemeanor of the first degree; Tony J. Grant, age 20, 16-808 CR M1, Napoleon, Ohio, Possession of heroin a Felony of the fifth degree, Possession of Drugs (Fentanyl) a Felony of the fifth degree; Mark Allen McMahon Jr., age 21, 612 Haley St., Napoleon, Ohio, for Possession of Cocaine, a Felony of the fifth degree; John W. Zimmerman, age 52, 221 N. Wilhelm St., Holgate, Ohio, for cultivation of Marijuana a Felony of the fifth degree; Brent A. Connolly, age 26, 1049 Dodd St., Napoleon, Ohio, for Possession of Cocaine a felony of the fifth degree, Possession of Drugs (Fentanyl) a Felony of the fifth degree, Possession of Heroin, a Felony of the fifth degree; Taylor L. McMahon, age 24, 1049 Dodd St., Napoleon, Ohio, for Possession of Cocaine, a Felony of the fifth degree, Possession of Drugs (Fentanyl) a Felony of the fifth degree, Possession of Heroin, a Felony of the fifth degree.

Defendants were arraigned in the Henry County Common Pleas Court on this date. Other agencies assisting in the arrest were the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio State Probation and Parole Office, Henry County Job and Family Services, Child Protection Unit.
