Meth bust at Wooster gas station

Responding to a report of an intoxicated individual at a gas station on Cleveland Road, Wooster police took a pair of male suspects into custody on Saturday. Charges are forthcoming from Medway.

"When officers responded to the scene, they found there were some chemicals in the vehicle that the gentlemen were inside of," said Sgt. Victor Nedoma of the Wooster Police Department.

Responding officers called in Medway Drug Task Force to help dispose of the chemicals they found in the vehicle.

The Wooster Fire Department was on the scene as stand by in case of emergency. There was none.

"Medway personnel are trained in taking apart and disposing of those type of chemicals, which is why they were called in for assistance," Nedoma said.

The investigation continued Saturday evening.
