METRICH executes search warrant in Fostoria

Seneca County Drug Task Force - METRICH Enforcement Unit and Fostoria Police Department officers executed their second drug-related search warrant in the city within three days Saturday.

Saturday's search warrant was at 130 Elm St., the residence of Dateaka M.J. Sherman, 24, and Taneel R. Lee, 33, according to a release. The police department's SWAT team and canine unit assisted in its execution.

Judge Mark Repp of Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court signed the search warrant, which yielded money, suspected crack cocaine and marijuana, criminal tools and evidence of drug trafficking, it states.

Charges of trafficking crack cocaine, possession crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of criminal tools and permitting drug abuse were pending on Sherman and Lee upon the conclusion of the drug investigation and the return of laboratory analysis of the substances law enforcement found, the release states.

A man was arrested on a parole violation when the enforcement unit and police department executed a drug-related search warrant Thursday.

Justin K. Yarbrough, 35, was incarcerated in Seneca County Jail after the search warrant was conducted at Nye's Trailer Park, 1521 N. Countyline St., Lot 79. It is the residence of Yarbrough and Tiffani L. Diaz, 28.

The search warrant yielded money, suspected crack cocaine and marijuana, criminal tools and evidence of drug trafficking, according to a release from METRICH.

Charges of trafficking crack cocaine, possession crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of criminal tools and permitting drug abuse were pending against Diaz and Yarbrough, the release states.
