More than 100 marijuana plants were seized throughout Richland County on Wednesday.
METRICH Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of BCI and the Ohio Special Response Team, seized a total of 102 marijuana plants, according to a news release.
Lt. Joy Stortz said that the plants ranged in various stages of maturity.
No further details were available Wednesday. Detectives will be following up on certain cases related to the seizures.
Chief Ken Coontz commended the professionalism of BCI and the dedication of the volunteers from the Ohio Special Response Team in making Wednesday’s event successful.
