Norwalk, Willard investigation leads to woman's arrest

The Norwalk and Willard police departments conducted a combined drug-trafficking investigation which resulted in the arrest of a suspected drug dealer.

As a result of this joint effort, Christina L. Boggs, 40, of 306 Rae Court, Willard, was charged with trafficking in a Schedule II controlled substance.
“Christina L. Boggs was arrested on Oct. 14, 2015, after agreeing to sell a Schedule II controlled substance. The sale was arranged by the Norwalk Police Department and took place in Willard, Ohio,” Norwalk Police Detective Sgt. Seth Fry said.

“Ms. Boggs met with (Willard Police) Chief Mark Holden in the parking lot of Drug Mart, 307 Walton St., Willard, Ohio and sold him nine Schedule II tablets,” he continued.

Boggs was arrested without incident and transported to the Huron County Jail. She was released Tuesday upon posting a $15,000 bond.

“This is a great example of what agencies can accomplish when working together. Additional arrests will be made as a result of this investigation,” Fry said.
