Police Arrest 2 After Drug Raid

Two people were arrested Wednesday evening after a drug raid at a Putnam Street residence in Findlay.

Detectives from the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at 9 p.m. Wednesday at 927 Putnam St., Apt. G.

A search of the residence yielded powder cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cash, and other items indicative of drug trafficking, the task force said.

Heather L. Hoover, 41, who lives at the residence, was arrested and is being held in the Hancock County jail. She was charged with a fifth-degree felony count of permitting drug abuse, according to the task force.

Keith S. Hartfield, 43, of Toledo, also was arrested and was being held at the jail, according to the task force. He was charged with possession of cocaine, a fourth-degree felony, and possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony.
