Police report finding cocaine, heroin in morning raid

Chillicothe police arrested two people after a Tuesday morning drug search at an Adams Avenue home.

Jahmol Cruse, 34, of 823.5 Adams Ave., was charged with felony counts of possession of cocaine and possession of heroin. Heather Jones, 26, of the same address, was charged with a misdemeanor count of permitting drug abuse.

The arrests came when the Special Response Team and detectives served a warrant at their Adams Avenue home at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police reported finding about 20 grams of suspected cocaine, 6 grams of suspected heroin, marijuana, Xanax, and a “large sum” of cash.
