RANGE Task Force releases new raid info

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - New information about a large-scale drug bust by the Range Task Force in Dayton.

The raid was the result of months of investigation that ended with the arrests of three notorious gang members.

Federal agents joined the raid Wednesday morning on Adler Avenue, Ethel Avenue, Heatherstone Drive and Anna Drive.

Officers say the suspects were involved in car-to-car drug deals involving heroin in the Westwood neighborhood.

"We had a lot of resources tied up in this yesterday in this group. That's what it takes. When these guys are guarding houses with armed guards, you have to send your SWAT teams in and its man power intensive and labor intensive and it costs the taxpayers a lot of money to get these guys off the streets," said Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer.

Those arrested face anywhere from ten years to life in prison.

Deputies are still looking for two more suspected gang members, Quentin Robinson and Marcus Ross.

If you can help locate them, call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867.
