Repeat Drug Offender Arrested by Drug Task Force Agents.

David L. Reed has been arrested once again by Medina County Drug Task Force agents! Reed, age 54 of 416 Bronson St. in Medina, is in the Medina County Jail after an undercover agent purchased purported heroin from Reed. The transaction took place late Tuesday afternoon (July 28) at a Trease Road apartment complex in the city of Wadsworth. Shortly after the drug transaction took place, agents requested officers from the Wadsworth Police Department to stop the car that Reed was driving. David Reed was taken into custody without incident. A female in the car with Reed was temporarily detained and was later released without being charged with a crime.

David Reed is very familiar to local law enforcement. Reed has been arrested more than 50 times by northeast Ohio law enforcement agencies since 1980. He has been arrested 5 times by Medina County Drug Task Force agents since 2004. Most recently, Reed was arrested on August 7, 2014 for Permitting Drug Abuse after agents purchased heroin from Curtis Debose in the yard of Reed's Bronson St. residence in Medina. Debose was charged and convicted in Federal court due to his extensive criminal history. Reed was convicted of the felony offense and sentenced to probation. In addition, Reed's home was closed and boarded by city of Medina officials.

In this case, David L. Reed has been charged with one count of Trafficking in Heroin a 4th degree felony.
