Search Warrant Carlisle Ave

On Sunday morning, April 19, 2015, officers from the Lima Police Department were sent to 1121 Carlisle Avenue in reference to a domestic dispute. An adult male was stabbed and received non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, treated and released. Lacrisha Howard (29) of 1121 Carlisle Avenue was arrested for Suspicion of Felonious Assault. Detectives were called in to investigate. They obtained a search warrant for 1121 Carlisle Avenue in Lima, Allen County, Ohio. While searching the scene, officers found narcotics and contacted members of the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force.

Officers from the Task Force obtained another search warrant to search the residence for drug related evidence. Suspected cocaine, heroin, marijuana, pharmaceutical pills, drug paraphernalia and two loaded guns were found inside the house. No one was taken into custody for the drug related charges. Those charges will be presented to a grand jury at a later date.

The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force is comprised of officers from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Lima Police Department, Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office, Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
